Folding chair.

As an international student from Slovakia I had a opportunity to join 4th year Product Design course at Glasgow Caledonian university and design a chair for Milan furniture fair 2010. The task was design and build functional chair in one month, with exact technical specifications – chair had to fit in one box of 80x45x5cm.

The main principals of my design were to showcase the uniqueness and strength of a simple material as playwood.  The chair is very easy to make, easy to fold/unfold and produces minimal waste.
